  1. The Revenge was built in 1941 in St. Augustine, Florida. It was cypress-planked and started life as a shrimper. It made its way north and was named the Silver King, owned by Karen Broderick’s grandfather. Later it was named the Revenge and painted black, to fish inside the limit at night. Charlie Malaquias bought it in 1955 and painted it white. He fished on it for fifteen years, until it went aground in the winter of 1970.
