Myrick Young, the founding treasurer of the Provincetown Lions Club in 1932, owned this house until 1968, when he sold it to Abe Burrows, the Broadway playwright, and his wife, Carin. Burrows’s own summer home was across the street, at No. 551. He and his wife owned this property just three years.
