In a review of her one-woman show at the Provincetown Group Gallery in 1966, The Provincetown Advocate said: “As the inveterate opening night crowd flowed through the gallery, and as they learned that this was one winter’s output, reactions ran the gamut from Aaah! through Man!! to Zowie!!!” A brief profile of Black appears on Ewa Nogiec’s Provincetown Artist Registry. She was also active in an effort in the early 1950s to revive Provincetown’s little theater tradition in a group known as the Pilgrim Players. • MapAssessor’s Online Database ¶ Posted 2013-08-04
