Stable Path is a housing development proposed by the developer Edward “Ted” Malone (b 1954), the founder and president of Community Housing Resource Inc., 36 Conwell Street, who paid $1.1 million for this property in 2003.

The project, designed by Spring Hill Design in Somerville, originally called for 37 units, 32 of them affordable for families with moderate incomes. It has since been scaled down to 23 units, 18 of them affordable.
